Accompanied by live drums, traditional steps are taught to corresponding rhythms. Bare feet, comfortable clothing and an open, non self-judging attitude are all that is required in this welcome environment. All levels welcome / $12

Pam and Mimo Camara have been teaching Guinea dance in the Hudson Valley for over 20 years. Mimo is a former lead dancer with Guinea's national troupe; Pam has studied dance since age five and has the honor of studying with some of Guinea's finest on the duo’s annual trips to their home in Guinea. Contact xxx for more info.

Forrest Yoga
6:15pm – 7:30pm

Through deep breathing and strengthening poses, Forrest Yoga teaches students how to clear out tension from the body. This deeply physical and internally focused practice is known to help with injuries, anxiety, trauma, addictions and stress.

Expect unique abdominal work, back/shoulder/neck therapy, strength building sequences and breath awareness, all with modifications for healing and preventing injuries. All levels welcome / bring your own mat / $16

Denise Hopkins has been teaching for over a decade in NYC and now the Hudson Valley. She is also a Forrest Yoga Guardian teacher (one of select group of teachers chosen to carry on the lineage of Forrest Yoga developed by Ana Forrest over 40 years ago). Contact xxx for more info.
